Does your child need a little extra help?
Have you tried everything and they are still misbehaving?
Or maybe you are feeling defeated in an area of continued struggle?
Do you need direction on a specific topic?
Stress no longer. I am here to help!
I provide parent consultation for children ages 3-10 with a variety of behavioral concerns. I am passionate about REAL answers to parenting’s tough questions. Allow yourself to take a deep breath. Asking for help is hard. Every one of us struggles, myself included! The test of character comes that you’re here to do something about it. That’s admirable. That’s being a great parent.
I have a masters degree and am a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I’ve worked in the field for 15 years with all ages, behaviors, anxiety struggles, and mental health concerns.
Your time is now to invest in your child’s future!
I have experience in creating lasting change for over one hundred clients that struggle with aggression, anxiety, trauma, refusal, and much more. It would be my pleasure to use my expertise to assist you and your family. I’m extremely passionate about my work, as I believe Jenna Young Consulting (using both God’s Word & research) has the ability to bring change to families. It’s an investment that is absolutely worth making! I’m a therapist for your entire family. I work with both children and Mamas simultaneously.
I’m passionate about real solutions & actual results!
Everything I recommend is scientific and research based. I’m passionate about equipping you to be everything a therapist would be. You as the parent have a much larger impact on your child than I as a therapist could ever have. You spend more time, have a deeper relationship, and have more opportunities to address the behavior. It just makes sense. Whether it be a one-time question, or a continually consultative relationship – I look forward to working with you!
Hats off to you for being a great parent!

What are parents saying?
“My husband and I reached out to Jenna for help with our son. Jenna was so positive and uplifting. She helped us understand why our child might be having meltdowns and where they could possibly be coming from. Jenna gave me other ways of dealing with our daily issues other than yelling. It feels like a breath of fresh air. A few weeks later my son had his own meeting with Jenna via zoom. It was so sweet hear them talk about different emotions with the help of her book Go Away Bossy Brain. Sometimes our kids don’t open up to us they way we would like them to. Jenna is like the key to the door that is helping us unlock it all. We all need help as parents to learn different ways to help our child. I feel so lucky to have Jenna helping us navigate through this chapter“

Frequently Asked Questions
I do most of my consulting sessions through Zoom. I would send you an invite for an agreed upon appointment time and we will log on to video chat.
JYC has a very unique approach, in that its main focus of therapy is assisting the parents. This therapeutic approach is different from many, but we feel extremely passionate that this is the only way to bring about long-term results. So often the therapist will work 1:1 with the child, and they will show promising results. However, when the therapy stops – so do the results. Another situation is the child is “good” when the therapist is there, but will show their “true colors” when we leave. That is because their environment isn’t permanently changed. It’s impossible for a therapist to be there running the behavioral strategies that make the child successful long-term. What is realistic is the therapist coming alongside the parent and teaching YOU to be the therapist. Teaching the parent how to be the therapist allows for the child to have access to behavioral strategies that the behavior analyst would do, yet it would be embedded into every interaction throughout their entire day – not just when they are “in therapy.”
You do not need to be a Christian in order to benefit from the consulting services. I personally see my belief in Jesus Christ allows me to be a better Mama. If you do not believe that though, I respect you and am still am more than willing to help.
No worries! I would recommend you book a Meet and Greet call. This will be FREE to you! You can share with me what is going on, and I can help you decide what supports you would benefit from!
Just come! I will lead our discussions. I have questions that we will go through that over most everything that I’ll need to know to provide you the best possible treatment. There is always time for you to share anything that I didn’t cover that you feel is important as well. We always begin our first session with me collecting all the information and background. I then get to work on getting the best interventions on how to respond into your hands. We then spend the remainder of our time on parent training and focusing on how we can respond with evidence-based solutions!
Once you purchase your package, I will contact you with the email address you provided. You can also schedule the Meet and Greet, and I’ll be happy to discuss with you over zoom how the whole process works
I am flexible with the days and times. I do typically book a week or two out, so please be mindful that I may not be able to see you right away due to high demand. I am available days, nights, and weekends.
Please do! I actually highly encourage you to bring your husband or significant other if at all possible. You will be a much stronger team if you both are on the same page.
Don’t worry, this process will be the perfect balance of information and practicality. I go slow, and we will slowly introduce new areas and interventions to try. Also, I offer an additional service for $49 to create all the materials that you will need. If you would prefer to leave that part to me – all you have to do is begin to implement!
Absolutely! Once you book (even a Meet & Greet) I will email you the Jenna Young Consulting intake packet that reviews all the needed information!
I like to say, I can’t change a person, however – we can change their environment. I will be up front and honest that behavior and anxiety change takes time. However, I am dedicated that if you are consistent and committed, we will find an intervention that works! It may still take time, but I can guarantee that you will be on your way to long-lasting change!
I have worked with hundred of clients over the past 15 years changing behavior, and I really have worked with a little of everything! I have changed behavior with clients ages 2-79! I have experience treating everything from mental illness, severe aggression, and suicide attempts to potty training, store meltdowns, and anxiety. I will say most of my clients today are ages 2-10 and struggle with refusal, anxiety, tantrums, school struggles, transitions, and emotional outbursts. If you are encountering a concern, I can guarantee I probably have worked on changing that behavior before! I’d love to sit down and hear more about what you are seeing, and how I can help!
